Curated for the Season: Fall/Winter 2025/26 with Sahar
There’s something about Fall/Winter dressing that feels inherently elevated — richer fabrics, deeper tones, and a certain polish that comes from mastering the art of looking effortlessly warm. This season signals more than a shift in weather. It’s a style reset. A time to return to the pieces that ground us and introduce those that push us forward.
Think: oversized faux fur coats, Victorian lace and cashmere knits, monochrome layering, and sharp accessories with a bold silhouette. Fall/Winter invites us to step into our most curated selves.
Let’s start by going back for a moment. It was 2019, and Paris was experiencing rare snowfall while I was there sourcing for clients. I still remember walking through Rue Montaigne in a cream Max Mara teddy coat, snow gently falling — stylishly warm and completely in my element. That moment reminded me: when you feel your best, you show up differently. Dressing with intention is more than appearance — it’s presence.
And Fall/Winter, with its back-to-back celebrations, long dinners, and travel plans, is the season to show up. For me, it’s never about how many pieces you own — it’s about owning the right ones. Timeless fabrics. Fluid cuts. Silhouettes that you restyle again and again. So here’s what’s on my radar this season.
What to Collect: Hermés Seasonal Colourways That Matter
If I were beginning a new Fall/Winter collection, I’d start with the colour palette. The tones that define the season are rich and expressive — and knowing what to look for makes all the difference.
Trending now:
Mocha & Bai Brun – A deep, chocolate hue that feels equal parts indulgent and grounding
Powder Pink & Bold Reds – Romantic, yet strong
Sapphire Blue – A midnight navy that commands attention
Spring Greens & Deep Olive – From vibrant to earthy
Purple Tones – Aubergine, Plum, and Améthyste
Honey Beige & Buttermilk – Warm and versatile neutrals
Graphite & Luxe Grey – Understated, but unmistakable
Black and white remain foundation shades — the anchors of any well-built wardrobe. But these seasonal hues are where personality, rarity, and expression live.
What to Wear: Shapes and Silhouettes to Watch
This Fall/Winter is all about proportion and personality.
We’re seeing relaxed, oversized tailoring — slouchy knits, structured outerwear, and layers that feel intentional, not bulky. For me personally, my Paris years shaped my aesthetic — now I favour muted tones accented by a single pop of colour. Dressing, to me, is your wearable business card.
Here’s what’s trending in the pieces I’m curating for clients:
Chanel:
The CC pearl heel — in boots or Mary Janes — is dominating my feed (and our sourcing list).
The CHANEL 25 bag in seasonal textures like suede and crumpled shearling is one to watch. Our team has already secured rare colourways in deep olive and dark grey.
The oversized pearl runway bag — bold, iconic, and destined to become a collectible.
Hermès:
The Sellier Birkin in Epsom continues to be a favourite among collectors. While it's no longer available as a special order (HSS), it is still being offered to select clients through the boutique — with no indication yet of whether it will return to the HSS program. We’re continuing to secure these in Craie, Gold, Black, Etoupe, and Rose Confetti.
The Kelly in Togo is having a moment — especially for citywear.
Hermès Ready-to-Wear is leaning into feminine structure with defined silhouettes in rich earthy tones.
The Show Everyone’s Talking About: CHANEL SS26
I couldn’t publish this Journal without acknowledging one of the season’s most significant shifts: Matthieu Blazy’s debut as Creative Director of CHANEL. The Spring/Summer 2026 collection was nothing short of transformative. Set against a celestial runway adorned with orbiting plants, it signalled that something new was coming. But no one could have anticipated what came next.
Inspired by an imaginary conversation with Gabrielle Chanel herself, the collection was a return to house codes, masculine meets feminine - reworked in silk, tweed, and jersey with Blazy’s unmistakable touch. The opening looks were precise and deceptively simple, giving no indication of the creative crescendo about to unfold.
And then, it happened.
The music shifted. The silhouettes expanded. Volume met movement. A red feathered tomato skirt floated down the runway with theatrical ease — bold, feminine, and utterly unforgettable. For me, it was the standout piece. Also on my radar: the oversized pearl necklaces layered with intention, and the crisp white tuxedo shirt, its discrete logo detail making it a must for myself and clients alike.
Pre-orders for key CHANEL runway pieces are now open via our private sourcing service.
